How to Apply for an RSSB Exam: Step by Step

1. Step 1: Log In With Your SSO ID

2. Step 2: Open the Recruitment Portal

   On your dashboard, select the Recruitment Portal under the Citizen Apps (G2C) section. The portal opens with the list of live recruitments.

3. Step 3: Click Apply Now Against Your Exam

   Find your exam in the list, such as the CET Graduate Level or CET Senior Secondary Level, and click Apply Now next to it. If your OTR is incomplete, the portal routes you through it first.

4. Step 4: Fill the Application Form

6. Step 6: Upload Your Signature

   The signature has its own format. Sign in both Hindi and English inside a 7 cm by 2 cm box, using a black or dark blue pen on white A4 paper. Scan or photograph it clearly and upload. A casual signature photo on ruled paper is a common rejection reason.

7. Step 7: Pay and Submit

   If any fee applies for your case, pay it through net banking, a debit or credit card, an e-Mitra kiosk, or a Jan Suvidha Kendra. Submit the form, and save the confirmation.

Confirm Your Application Actually Registered

Do not trust a submission screen alone during heavy traffic. Verify it inside the portal.

Log in through SSO, open the Recruitment Portal, and go to the My Recruitment section. Open the Checklist tab and click View Checklist for your exam. If your Application ID appears there, your form is safely registered. Note that Application ID down and keep it until the recruitment completes.

After You Apply: City Slip, Admit Card, and Result

The Absence Penalty Every CET Candidate Should Know

The state tracks attendance across its recruitment agencies. The rule counts a financial year from 1 April to 31 March. Stay absent in two or more exams across RSSB, RPSC, or any other state agency in that period, and your OTR gets blocked.
